About the Institute

Independent, evidence-based, and victim-centered

Accountability Institute is a non-partisan, non-profit organization dedicated to transparency, accountability, public awareness, victim advocacy, and institutional responsibility.

Our mission

“To promote transparency, accountability, public awareness, and safer communities through education, research, advocacy, and responsible oversight.”

We focus on situations where individuals in positions of trust, authority, or power cause harm — particularly crimes involving children, abuse, exploitation, misconduct, or abuse of authority. We are non-partisan and take no political positions.
